"Your home away from home"

Mark & Niki thank you for looking at our site.

Welcome to Fourways Guesthouse, where we are only a 2 minute walk from Thirsk Town centre and the Racecourse.
Our aim is to provide you with a comfortable stay, with the extra choice of ground floor accommodation. However you decide to explore the area of Thirsk, whether by car, bus, bicycle or foot we feel sure you will find your stay at Fourways Guesthouse a friendly and memorable experience.  All prices include full English breakfast. Niki and Mark live at the property, so the owners are always available to look after you, as required.

There are 10 rooms to choose from including single, twin, double, triple and family rooms. All of the rooms boast en-suite facilities and some are on the ground floor. All rooms are tastefully decorated and have a hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi internet access and central heating.  A full cooked breakfast is served each morning with vegetarian and special diets catered for on request.

Nestled in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside and with a splendid backdrop of the rolling hills on one side and lush vales on the other, Thirsk is a beautiful location to spend an evening or two. With a great selection of local independant shops in the traditional medieval cobbled market place, Thirsk has a lot to offer it's visitors. As befits a market town and a former mail-coach posting stage the market place is still ringed by public houses most of which provide food. Other eateries include traditional Fish and Chips, Indian, Thai, Chinese, French and pizza takeaways as well as cafes, a bistro and restaurants.

Please call us to discuss your proposed stay, you will find us happy to help make your experience with us a memorable occasion.

“Fourways Guesthouse is very central to Thirst Market place where all the action is.Not even 10 mins away.It is a straight walk from the Rail Station about 30 mins dragging a case. When you see Tesco just cross the road and walk around and you will see the Guest House on the corner. My room was comfortable and very quite..Breakfast was plentiful a cooked breakfast which you chose what you want from.a little black board. There was no continental option.I enjoyed my stay.”

“We booked this place as we were going to the races and it was only a few minutes walk away. It was a fantastic find. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and breakfast cooked when ordered. We would definitely recommend and use it again when returning to Thirsk as it is a lovely place to visit ”
